Insulating trace repairs

I need to repair a copper trace section on a power amp board. What non-conductive material should I use to put over the repair to provide some level of protection? Would a 2 part epoxy be OK?

Yea, but I wanted to take precautions because I have to touch up some areas where it screws to the metal frame as it already wore through the coating and blew off a 2" section of the trace, hence the need for the repair. (don't ask). I'm pretty sure a coating of epoxy will protect it, especially because it's along the outer edge of the board.

If the screws are rubbing right onto an area that should be insulated I would use something like those small fiber washers that used to be used to insulate motherboards when building computers. You can find bags of 100 on eBay for next to nothing.

And if i want to snaz things up a it, I use the sparkley pink polish to get a FABULOUS finish!

Just make sure the nail polish is pure clear, no fine metal particulates, etc. added for a female driven enhanced fashion driven sparkly look !!
