I've totally lost track (no pun intended, but I'll take it) of F1. Was Red Bull still using engines sourced from Ferrari? I guess just maybe that will change with Porsche's participation.

I reckon you know better than I. I'm pretty sure they used Ferrari when they first joined the circus, but that was ages ago.

My understanding is deal is almost there but Porsche wants a clear 2026 engine design not yet approved. They currently use Honda under RB control w/agreements. I'm sure more to follow.

RB has had some interest from other mfr's for a possible 2026 engine dev. partnership including present supplier Honda who will continue to supply engines thru 2025.

I only remembered them using Renault before Honda so I looked. Seems they used Ferrari engines for one year, 2006.
