I have a set of HPM 100's (as seen in my avatar) and am thinking of trading them for a set of JBL 100t's. The person who has them is and hour and a half away from me so I cannot go there and just listen. Any thoughts?
If so, their boomy bass, forward midrange and rolled-off highs will be things of the past with L100T
HPM 100s? Has anybody measured them?Rolled off highs? Not the 4 sets I have heard.
Why is that an issue? What type of music do you listen to most??

15 3/8(W) x 26 6/16(H) x 15 15/32(D)in, 58 lb 12 ozHPM 100s? Has anybody measured them?
I take it there's not a lot of Hip-Hop and Rap in your collection...Is there something inherent in one type of music as opposed to another which would necessitate different speakers to play them?![]()
Need a sub for that, is all. Even the studios are "augmented." :yes:I take it there's not a lot of Hip-Hop and Rap in your collection...![]()
also, are the 100t's comparable to the 100 centuries with the white woofers?
are they the same speaker?
NO, but I'm now starting to suspect you believe they are, and that's why you want them.... also, are the 100t's comparable to the 100 centuries with the white woofers?

well I guess this one is about settled.
BTW, i like the HPM 60 better, does not go as low but more balanced somehow. IMHO
i listen to zep, cream wolfmother, kings of leon, white stripes, boston
