"Jerry Seinfeld's" speakers?

Hey guys / gals, It's TRIVIA TIME!
What brand / model of speaker did Jerry have in his apartment?
Approx. 3' high, 15" wide, 15" deep. >12" woofer, horn loaded tweeter & midrange. Always wondered, would lke to know!

I kinda thought they were big Pioneers of some sort. I think someboady made some dough for dressing up his (and other) places with audio equipment. Doesn't even have to work, just look pretty!

who'd want to lug around 50# speakers that would never get used, anyway?

probably something between the duo/TAM, gonna have to watch reruns.
 
And let's not forget the never used bike hanging on the wall. I think the only thing ever used in that apartment was the TV and as far as I know I don't think they ever once showed it :scratch2:

And just how in the Hell did, Jerry ever make enough money to afford a $40.000 Saab and buy his folks a $50.000 Cadilac :scratch2: Lets face it he was no Vegas headliner, just a strugling comedian.
 
Thats something I've always wondered myself about the show- don't forget, he would have actually bought two saabs, if you count his origional '92 900, which was what, $18,000 new?

I also read somewhere that the shot of his building that they show in the beginning of every episode was actually somewhere out in california.

I've seen every Seinfeld episode and have seasons 1,2 and 3 on DVD. Over time the speakers have changed. Their are white woofers in the later seasons which would preclude them from being CV's. I always assumed they were some sort of JBL.

The bike changed at one point too, I think the front forks were on backwards at one stage. I think the green bike was a Klein? Also his computers changed, they were all apple macs, in the later series he had one of the 20th anniversary flat upright models.

I heard somewhere that the bike belonged to the actor who played Kramer, not sure if that was true though.
 
Anyone ever notice in the earliest episodes, Jerry also had a beautiful 1935 Emerson radio in an Ingraham cabinet?
 
I think I need a bigger TV

I tried to see what the stereo gear on the rack was one day but my wife caught me and gave me a real funny look. I was about 3 inches from the screen with the VCR on pause...(I thought maybe Proton or something...) All I could ever spot on our little TV was one of his Porsche 911's parked on the street in a few episodes. He also wore various Breitling watches throughout the series.
Even with all these distractions the show was still funny.

funny story to that. It was always a green Klein, but then Cannondale sent the cast some bikes and for a couple of eps there was a blue (?) cannondale. Enough people wrote into the show and the Klein was back. Cannondale was then represented well enough during the street scenes when they walked past the bike shop.
