"Jerry Seinfeld's" speakers?

Personally, a fan of the TV Series (USA Network) Suits. Harvey's system is pretty nice, though I would change the small Klipsch RB's for something like Sonus Faber bookshelves.

Jerry Seinfeld also had a Mac SE computer (stolen), several boring Mac desktops and a $10,000 MacIntosh 20 Anniversary computer that was way ahead of its time. It is grey/silver thinish flatscreen computer

I can always tell the season because of Jerry's computer

Speaking of audio gear in TV shows, does anyone remember the Martin Logans in joey and Chandlers apartment in several Friend's episodes?

Yeah I do. But don't remember seeing any components on the shelf to drive them. Also seems like I remember a few episodes where there were some B&W looking bookies in their apartment.

I thought I was the only one who saw that. I believe it started as a Mac SE, then a Mac SE30, then a Quadra 638CD, then a Duo 280c with the ultra cool docking station and finally the 20th anniversary model you mention.

I used to be into vintage Macs in a big way as they were so cheap. These days, as Apple has become suddenly "popular and Hip" the prices on them have sky rocketed. Were talking units you couldn't give away 5 yrs ago going for hundreds and even thousands of dollars now.

I'm watching an episode of Seinfeld and he has some speakers in his apartment. It must be one of the first seasons, because I know they weren't there for the majority of the show. This particular episode is when George quits and then tries to go back to his job like he never quit.

So, the speakers are about the size of a Mach One or an L100, and it has a mid and tweeter horn offset to the right. They are not mirror-imaged. The tiny logo reminded me of MCS, but I don't think they were MCS. Anyone know?

That was one of the things I immediately noticed about Suits...I'm pretty sure Sonus Faber is not going pay what Klipsch pays for product placement, but they would be cool.

I recall that in Suits, Harvey eventually downgraded from a gorgeous VPI turntable to a chintzy ProJect. (Boo hiss; sorry for the snobbery.) And his speakers definitely fell short of VPI quality level.

Speaking as a litigator who used to work in a firm like that one, I have to say that Suits has maybe the least realism of almost any law-firm TV show I have ever seen, even more so than the Good Wife or Boston Legal. However, I still enjoyed watching several seasons of it.

I'm not sure what "bookies" are, but in Joey's and Chandler's apartment I remember seeing a pair of Blue Moon Minipods, or their later Scandyna versions.
