"Jerry Seinfeld's" speakers?

By episode 4 they had the audience numbers which meant they could merchandise all of the product placement I'd guess. Hence his stereo gets 'stolen' and bingo JVCs speakers are featured.

Weren't there some ugly things with gray grill cloth with a groove in the grill around the drivers? Cheap Panasonic or JBL's.

Yes Newman's speakers were the odd looking grey ones with rings.
