Kenwood Equalizer

I have kenwood GE-1100 equalizer using it with my basic C1 preamp and M1 power amp.

My question is, are there any better eq than the GE-1100?

I am asking only for Kenwood models, not any other brands!

I have a GE-1000 (1982) that I like. The GE-1100 usually goes for 2-3x more on e-bay.

Yours is one of the best vintage models. There ere some newer EQs that were pretty cool (I always liked the GE-7030) but that was mostly because of their flourescent bouncy displays

So I have the top of the line EQ that Kenwood made. That's what I wanted to know.

I don't know if that is the Top of the line unit for all Kenwood EQs but seems like it is a good one. Kenwood did not make a lot of them that I am aware of so I can't say if an earlier or later model would be better. Since it may well be from ~1982, that is close to the pinnacle of decent gear before the fall so it could be what you wish for, but two posts on AK shouldn't be the final determinate of its position in the line up.
