Local?

Yes.

[geespot]

not local for me

[usedto]

I paid $100 for a pair of oiled oak KG4s last year off CL. They had one small blemish in the finish.

I was the only caller.

[blueflowers1]

I got a pair of kg4's and kg1's for 80 bucks total. Both were near mint. Sold the kg1's and kept the kg4's and came out 65 bucks ahead.

KG speakers are generally a hard sell anywhere outside eBay. You see them getting relisted all the time on CL. I didn't have a lot of luck with mine until I traded them.

Honestly, $200 for a pair sounds like a lot to me.

[geespot]

I really want a pair but had no idea what these go for. Thanks to blueflowers for the ebay sales history.

[hammr7]

The price does seem high if you have to pay shipping. I got a CL pair of KLF-20s for $100, and was one of only two e-mailers.

Why do people think Ebay is a good place to buy this stuff? It's a sellers market folks, not a buyers.

[Fisherdude]

While there are always bargains, and there are frequently unexplainable bidding wars, the going price on eBay for a nice pair is usually around $200-250, plus shipping.

And I like mine, although they're splitting some time with a pair of JBL L100's at the moment.

Well put and fully agree.

I paid just a bit more than that for mine from an AK site sponsor(before AK's birth), They were fully overhauled and are complete with original cartons, packing, and paperwork, even came with a guarantee. They're the smallest Klipsch i've ever owned and have been with me the longest................ i must really like 'em.
