Extraordinarily tragic.

I’m skeptical about that being actual video footage of the accident. Everything I’ve read said weather was a contributing factor. The conditions in that video are not conducive to visibility restricted by weather. A little hazy, maybe...but looks like VFR weather conditions to me.

You know what your right I’m hearing now that, that is most likely not the actual crash . It was foggy when it happened and I’m not seeing fog . I’m going to take that video out , I don’t want to contribute to the fake crap and rumors being spread .

When someone young, strong, and exceptional dies suddenly, it's a reminder - at least for this old, used-to-be-stronger, and fungible schlup - that life is a gift and, as my Grandma Scanlin used to say, your next heartbeat is up to God. Or at least not completely up to you.

I'm feeling sad for the other victims, too. They weren't as famous, but their lives were as precious and they too left loved ones behind.

And I will do my best to never get on a helicopter. Totally irrational, I'm sure, but it seems like your chances are a little better when something goes wrong with an airplane.
