Found this Vemcolite VL-4 Task Lamp at the Animal Save Thrift today. All metal design with a long solid boom. From 1984 or so, has a nice mid-century Industrial vibe.

I really don't know much about it. No markings anywhere. I bought it at an estate sale decades ago for like 25.00.

My parents had a pair of table lamps in this style back in the late 60's through sometime in the 80's. Ran across this one in an antique store right before we closed on our current place and knew I had to have it for my 1970's themed mancave/home office/listening space.

I like the weather station on the wall. I'm pretty sure my grandparents had the same one when I was a kid.

When I decided to do a 1970s theme on my mancave, that was one of the first pieces I knew I had to have. Extra bonus - all of the indicators work perfectly. I've checked the barometer several times against the weather app on my phone and it has been within a couple hundredths every time. I also have a digital humidity meter in the room that jives pretty much exact with the humidity shown on the weather station.
There is an intricate complexity in the lines of the shade and the stand yet the beauty of the lamp overall is in the simplicity of it’s lines. Exactly like the building in your avatar.
