That big dial Studio Standard stuff is some of the best post-Emerson Fisher stuff. I love to see it. Thanks for adding it to the list.
I had a Fisher VCR from the same era with the VHS-HiFi option and used it as my reference audio piece for quite a while.

Fisher 800-T

I have plenty other Fisher pieces, but here is a photo of the twin brother of the 500-TX. I acquired it on Craig's List a couple of years ago, along with the wired remote, for $10. A little work by my tech on a frozen selector control and on/off/volume switch and it works as good as it looks. And the tuning section, the main reason I bought it, pulls in stations like a DXing champion.

Since post #91 http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showpost.php?p=3760100&postcount=91 I've gotten an 800C, a 550-T, 101-R, and the following consoles......'51 Coronet (Warwick), '59 510 Consolette and a 560 companion, A 610 Headunit for the 510, a '61 Coronet Cabinet (the 400 went in it until I sold the 400), and a '64 Custom Electra VII. Soon to be added is a Custom Electra III. I still have the '65 C.E. VIII, Futura VI, and '69 Royal Electra.

I WISH!!!!! 1084 sqft on main floor of a 3 bedroom, 1 bath, (attached garage converted to living room) Rancher with a basement approx 900sq ft. The 51 Coronet is in the Main Bedroom, Both the 65's are in the dining room, and the rest are in the basement with the non Fisher consoles. I've got 13 or 14 right now in the house. It DO get crowded at times. I'm giving a 1962 RCA 3V405 Console to one of the Kids friends(she practically lived here at one point a few years back) as a wedding present. I just went over the whole thing, and it's in great shape. She has been bugging me about getting a console, so I figured what the hell.

I use an Empire 598 III with my Fisher KX200 and they are a match made in Heaven. I just purchased a OEM wood case for mine and wanted to post a pic of it since I got it all finished but the case wouldn't fit because of my EH tubes. So I recently purchased a quad of Westinghouse Fisher branded 7951's and they just came in the mail today so in a few minutes I am going to pop them in, check the biases, and then I will take some pics of the project now that its complete.

I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking "period-correct" while shopping. I suppose it's because the sound takes me back. Sort of a one-way time machine to the past. I might buy the future if anybody built a good one.
 
Well problems in paradise, I installed the new tubes, and couldn't seem to get channel A to balance using the meter on the KX200. Then I saw one tube start to really get red, does that mean red plateing? I turned if off, then waited a bit and turned it back on, that tube is not getting real red anymore, and both channels have good sound only I keep hearing some static from the right channel like a when you turn a pot that dirty sound, only it does it once and awhile not when your turning any pots. Really disappointed, as now I don't know what to do. I guess I will post a new thread asking for some help. I am thinking what I really need is to replace the can caps.

Too far is when I can stick my arm out of the shower and flip an LP or change a station on the tuner. :music:

I just bought JOEDOTCOM's TX-100. It'll be her next week. Now I have something to power the 101-R tuner. Hot Dog.
 
Or when you stack them strategically with stick-on pads on the feet so they won't scratch. Also, you carefully match them so that the feet on the stacked one will still allow you to open the top accessible turntable cover on the bottom one.
