• The move to the new server is done. There are some software and database maintenance updates in process. This has us passing the hat around to help out. We appreciate any donations. Seriously, even a dollar helps. The payment page may be found here - https://www.audiokarma.org/support.html

Log out, log in anomaly - change bookm@rk to https

Try clearing Cache and Cookies. Also make sure you are not using an old bookmark with "http://" in the address. It needs to be "https://"
Tried all that, never used bookmark for anything. Don't even know how to bookmark. Cleared everything, restarted, used the https, still not working. I'll log in make one or two moves and get logged out.

Can you make Google Chrome your browser? It seems to have worked for me...

I don't know how much of this will help, I don't have an iPad, but I did a bit of Googling and came across this website.

https://www.imore.com/how-to-view-history-clear-website-data-cookies

Scroll down to where it says "How to clear your browser history, tracking cookies, and website data," and follow the prompts. I would clear "All Time" just to be sure you got it all.

I just tried to post in a thread from my phone and got some error. Went and added the s to https on my bookmark and this is my test post.

With the multiple combinations of platforms and web browsers, there will likely be some minor configuration issues. Unfortunately, regression testing of the various platform/browser combinations will be up to the members. So be patient and hang in there until this all gets sorted out.

It's because your favorites or bookmark as still trying to log you into http://AK vs. https://AK

Here's how to fix it:

  1. Log out of AK.
  2. Go to your browser.
  3. Remove any bookmarks you have for AK.
  4. Google search "audiokarma"
  5. Click on link.
  6. Look at URL. It should now be https://
  7. Sign in. Click on keep me logged in.
  8. Bookmark the page
I had to do it twice but that's probably because I burned through it pretty fast the first time.

As soon as I did this^^^ all my problems went away.

Before I re-bookmarked this site, some pages here were "not secure" and other pages were https:// and I was getting signed out randomly.

I've cleared everything, No Bookmarks, Shut Down, Restarted. Put this link in the Google search Bar.

https://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php

And still happening.

I change my Search Engine from Google to Yahoo.
Type AudioKarma in the search bar and No Problems.
That is what I always did with Google search, but now I have problems.

My password wasn't being recognized. That's after trying multiple times.
Could not sign in at all.
Just now, I changed the password.
That worked.

And it seems I'm now getting some annoying non-audio related ads.
Or as it's labeled, "promoted content".

It did me the same way with password. Once I deleted all saved bookmarks, and added them back with the http§ it stopped.

It was beginning to ®€@lly pi§§ me off.

I've always had the ads at the bottom, some with political content.

Since I downloaded the free version of ad blocking browser, I haven't seen any ads. Site works well too except for the hiccup with the "s" integration.
