Log out, log in anomaly - change bookm@rk to https

I have hundreds.
Its called my E-Mail filing system.
Most anything prior to this week is http:// and requires a login which does not work.
I just switch the http:// to https:// and move on.

How does one do this? it is what I will need to do. I am getting the problem intermittently on safari and chrome.
Just add this before audiokarma.org in your url bar.

Most browsers hide the http:// on followed links

EDIT::: These don't appear to work as intended. Researching why
EDIT 2::: OK had to check "Encrypt All Sites Eligible (EASE)" with Firefox. Now when I click stuff that is http:// (Like in a conversation e-mail) its rewritten to https:// fixing one nagging issue
EDIT 3:::: Works exactly the same with Chrome. Thus eliminating my main annoyance with this switch (And it was a very minor annoyance to be honest)

If linking to something in a thread/conversation try and make sure to use https://
Same goes for videos , images or external/internal anything
EDIT::: Had someone link back to a AK thread in a thread of mine. When I clicked the link sure enough I had a login requirement even though it was https:// I was able to view the thread though but had about every three posts those "Please register to disable this ad." or whatever links (That are blocked anyhow with my browser)

I know its easier to just insert without adding the "s" but long term it will help with the AK site navigability and also help with search results.

Google Chrome is insisting that this connection is not fully secure.
There should be a lock before the https:// not an exclamation mark.
If you click on the exclamation mark it says that this connection is not fully secure.
If you click on the shield on the right side of the address bar it says:
"this page is trying to load scrips from unauthenticated sources"
Facebook secure connection with lock and no script warning.
I'm not bothered by this at all, I'm posting this to draw attention to it as I've haven't seen it mentioned here.

The issue and it could be that https add on I talked about is that things redirect to https://audiokarma.org or just act weird

Thats interesting. I clicked on that https link and I get directed to this site with what appears to be a secure connection. But it isn't secure even though it uses the correct protocol for a secure connection. This is not a secure website. Why is that?
Also, whatever this change did, most all the images (uploads I've posted) thousands are gone, just the imageX placeholder. @Wardsweb any idea why thousands of my uploaded images in past posts (mainly the "What are you listening to right now - and more" thread are no longer displaying? Was the database reindexed after the sw update?

Whatever y'all did, as soon as I switched to the "https" URL, I am being logged out incessantly, and the site has become unusable. While I was using the unsecure URL, all was well. I have tried all available suggestions, and followed all available directions. The devices affected are an iPad Pro running iOS 12.4.1 and a Mac Mini running Mojave 10.14.3 with Safari 12.0.3.
I have this same problem. openSUSE Leap 15 & Firefox, fully patched as of this moment.

I have a theory, and have performed these experiment steps myself, with positive results. However, I need some regression test results, across the various platforms being used to access AK.

Enter AK, however you usually do. Make sure you are at the home page. Look at the web address at the top of the page. If the address is https:, change it to http: and re-load. You should now be at the home page but the web address above should be http:
Now navigate around the site as usual, avoiding hitting the "Home" tab, which will reset you to https: Instead, to get to the home page hit the "Forums" tab. For now, you should be able to navigate the site without getting an https: prefix. Report back whether the logging out issue persists for you.
For those that get logged out, in any state, click the "Log in" button. When the log in page presents, and it's address has an https: prefix, edit the prefix to http: and re-load. Verify that the log in page that presents has an http: prefix. Log in. You should again be able to navigate the site normally, and the page addresses should have http: prefixes, as long as you do not hit the "Home" tab. Navigate around normally. Report back whether the logging out issue persists for you.
After you have logged in on the http: prefixed log in page, and you have navigated around for a while with http: prefixed pages, then hit the "home" tab, and verify that the home page now presents with an https: prefix. Navigate around the site normally, verifying that all pages present with https: prefixes. Report back whether the logging out issue persists for you.
