looking for repair tech.

I have a Pioneer sx 1250 that I bought new in the mid 70's. I am getting no sound. Does anyone know of a good repair shop in North Jersey. I also have a ct 1250 tape deck and a sg 9500 equalizer.

I am not looking to sell these at this time. Just looking for a good vintage repair shop that does quality work for a fair price. The sx 1250 was in a repair shop that was recommended to me about 15 years ago. They had it for six months and when I got it back it worked for about 1 week. I've had them packed away since then. I also have a Technics sl 1500 turn table and a Akai 4000ds reel to reel.

I used to have 2 BIC venturi 6 speakers hooked to the system but unfortunatley they are long gone.

Called this guy today. Told me he didn't work on tape decks any longer. Been burned too many times. I asked how he could get burned. Hung up on me. Gave him the benefit of the doubt that it was a disconnect and called back. What an idiot. Screamed at me on the phone then told me to F' off. Nice guy. I wouldn't do business with him if someone else offered to pay for it. Got any other recommendations?
