Low Compliance MM Cartridge Suggestions

I have the same arm on my 160 and have used
DL-110
Shure V15-IV
Empire 2000eiii
AT155lc didn't seem to sing on that table
Grado Green and a 8MZ
SAE 1000LT

All worked well but I like the SAE the most , followed by the Grado's . the Grado's seem to need a bit of extra alignment but once set up seem to offer a real synergy on that table I think but that may be my ears/ my gear .

On my Thorens TD-147 I have used the Denon DL-110, Shure V-15 Type III and now I'm playing the Shure M97xE. They all sound and work well with the Thorens TT.

I ordered the SAE from a seller on ebay.I was thinking about the Denon,but the review of thin bass gave me second thoughts.Thanks for all of the input.

Just beware that some carts like the Ortofon 2M range are top mounted. You can still mount it on your headshell but you'll have to take off the logo plate.

With whatever you get, it's always a good idea to make sure you have a good selection of different lengthed 2mm screws.

The AT7x series was for changers and tracked at 2~3 grams. The AT110 was similar with better performance, if I recall correctly? There used to be a bunch of cartridges/cantilevers/suspensions for changers, but they seem to have mostly dried up?

It can be mounted from the bottom , there are a few guys on here that have jumped on those SAE's that I know of . Post back once you get some time on it .
