Luxman # NO 3010 Bi Pin lamp anyone know the spec's?

They are on a L-100U behind the front panel for the protection indication. LM701 and LM702

On my C-1000, which uses the same PB-645 winker board, I used a pair of 12V bulbs IIRC. The caps are 16V so that would be more than the circuit would have. Try a 12volt bulb and see if it is bright enough or too much.

Thanks for the info, confirms what I figured. Had one good lamp in the unit and I did a DC resistance test and it had the same resistance as the 12V Bi Pin lamps here.

They both now work! Figured they could be a 6V 8V 12V or 14V. The 12V was the safe bet.

On my preamp there is a pale rose/pink gel in front of the bulbs. It does very little to the light. So grab a chuck of gel that will tint the light the way you want it. On an L-100, the poop sheet has a blue top band. I go with a nice blue, cold but if done right would be nice.

I'm thinking the LED indicator would have to be red seeing the age of the unit. But looks clear from the front. Will know more after I remove the front panel once again.

It sure is a sweet sounding model.

yup red so I don't need to answer in the other thread. But then mine is a preamp you got the heavy weight with the wonderful grab handle heat sinks. Nice units.

Yes it seems to be! Have to play around with it some more. A lot to mess with on the front panel.
