Mac c11 c20,c22

C11,c20,c22 all near mint available right now. Any recommendation ? Which one would be best with mc2300,2205 for 2 channel set up.

I really liked the C20 and regret selling it. The C22 and C11 are essentially the same with some cosmetic differences. I've had both, and like both very much as well. I found the C20 to be thicker sounding, more of what one might expect from an old tube preamp. The C11/22 is a little more accurate, not as tubey sounding as the C20, or MX110(which I also own) for that matter.

Bottom line, assuming they're not just "mint" but properly electrically restored you really can't go wrong with any of them. Certainly not from a investment standpoint.

I have a C-20 and a C-22 and like them both. Buy them all, keep what you really like and sell the rest....
