Mac X-mas Wish List

A C46, MR85, MVP861 and a pair of MC501's would do just fine...then I would have to walk to work the rest of my life....:thumbsdn:
I have been walking to work for the last 5 years. Its actually pretty nice.:thmbsp: Would you trust an auto technician to work on your car who walks to work?:D

Much healthier too, considering how much time we spend sitting down listening to music!:D

Hey David...

I'd like a really nice MHT100...or go new with a MHT200 for the Home theatre system.

If anyone out there is presently using either, I'd be interested to hear your opinion.

I would imagine either of them being a quantum leap in performance above the 6 year old Harmon Kardon 5.1 receiver I'm presently using.

Peace,
David

I have the MHT100. LOVE IT! It's playing thru two pairs of ML-10C's stacked in the front, some LS-310s (rear), and a Yamaha center channel speaker and sub. Very simple to set up and use; it absolutely blows away the Denon HT receiver I had. You can find MHT100s pretty reasonably priced on Audiogon--that's where I got mine. Look for one that's had the firmware updated. Just don't use UPS to ship it. :thumbsdn: :nono:

Now if only Santa would bring me an MVP-861...

Just a pair of McIntosh MC1201 and a pair of XRT30's will do Santa!:D

Just looked and found Santa had missed my wish. Maybe better luck next year ......:D

And if I am desperately in need to "kill the urge", then no choice but to sell of 2 of my beloved watches.:tears:

4.15 am and I am still wide awake and listening ..... hoping to hear the GREAT difference .......that will spur me on to the decision:music:

For X-Mas I'd like an upgrade to the 861 that has HDMI outputs and is not so finicky about the CDs and DVDs it plays that I want to toss both of my units out of the window. A transport that does not sound like a power tool would be nice too. Maybe use the one from the MCD1000 which is almost completely silent.

That's part of my problem....work is 18 miles away with no sidewalks!:yikes:

I do most of my own (and close friends') auto work anyway. It's a Honda product (Acura) so it doesn't need much done to it.

Besides, my speakers wouldn't Mac's but yet either Klipschorns or Avant Guard Trio's. Given that my house was set up for either...:thmbsp:
