I live in a small suburb with only around 10.000 people, there is not much audio related going on.
Nearest city Trondheim which is 200.000 people have one or two hi-fi shops I belive..
I was wondering if you ever did experiment with your MGIIIa's on the 'long wall' ?
 
Well, three years later I'm still with the 3.6/R's. Not a single thought of replacement, still on twin NAD 208 mosfet amps in vertical biamp set up. At 4 ohms they are around 500 wpc max.
Last year (almost)I've been using the Duelund 2 ohm resistor for the ribbons, It taking out some of the ribbons putput, I dont think its masking details in music though.
I forgot the resistors where there actually.
My rooms could use some treatment for shure, It's kind of lively, with some hard surfaces.
For now its all good, just listening to music , I would say daily. In weekends for hours.
