No I was truly tempted to, but I shown a flashlight inside to look for critters or dust and it was like new. I have seen internal pics online and they are impressive.

Suffice it to say, at last count there was over 650kg (1430lbs) of HiFi components not including speakers) in my loungeroom and work area alone. I was concerned about the weight as we have a timber floored pole home and I didn't want it all ending up on the forest floor...

SWEEEET!!! Now that ROCKS!!! I had a few Nakamichi pieces in the past but nothing like that. That’s Awesome!
I wish youtube would up their bitrate from present 192 AAC to FLAC lossless. It sounds great now, but with so many new artist debuting on YouTube sound quality should be top priority. Bandwidth shouldn’t be an issue in 2018.

Cool I can play with my hot amps. The run at over 250 degrees near the red hot tubes, well the part that should be red hot. They are not red plating, btdt, moved on.
Less than 50 watts per channel (50 was spec but they are modified to use an available tube instead of one that is impossible to find.)
33.4 pounds, two required for stereo.

These are excellent sounding amps. Our best listener in the group was just silent when he first heard them during an amp comparison and another in the group said "now that is what it is supposed to sound like"
They drive Dahlquist DQ-10s with ease. No need for 200 solid state watts when you have these hooked up.
What these specs show, especially compared to the first amp I posted is that the specs are not really going to be the indicator of sound quality that many think it is. Specs are fine for the initial evaluation, like vs. like but when two tube amps or two ss amps are compared listening is really the best form of evaluation

I keep coming back to this picture of your amp. Mesmerizing & Beautiful solid copper and wood construction. I would be half tempted to construct a glass top just to show off inner workings.

Copper coated chassis stuff is cool for sure. Not sure if it does anything but it does look nice.
Can't really see much on this one but all of the chassis stuff is copper coated and it's got little copper covers on the outputs transistors.

I seriously doubt mine will evet pull that kind of juice. They drive my Allisons to ludicrous levels, and are just barely loafing along.
