If you’re not a collector, which I am not, paying $3-4-5k for a 7c is a hard pill to swallow. My belief about preamps is that no preamp is the best preamp. A straight wire would be the best. For obvious reasons that isn’t always an option. However $2-3K for a amp is tolerable. I wonder how well that 8B would make my jbl4435’s sing?
