Replaced and short. 60W bulb. Too much? Before replacemet of a transistor it was dim after a sec. Replacement is MJE15032G ; h711

Edit: replacement goes very hot during dim bulb testing.

I discovered that pin in voltage selector is broken, so she is loosing power. I remove the pin leftowers. Must figure it out how to replace and build a substitute.

I have some time while waiting for material to come and I was working on a hexagonal bolts for the faceplate. While Marantz replacement could be quite expensive I bought some inox standard ones and grinde the heads with some different grade paper using akku screwdriver. It came out real nice and cost 0.09$/pcs.

Schematic shows you will have 52V (J808) on that capacitor, so you should go up in voltage if possible.

Find some weird resistors mesing around headphones jack. Cut them loose and install a new 6,3mm socket. Works just great.

With scotch brite and aku screwdriver I camouflaged as much I can, damaged knobs and slowly putting all together.
After some testing she goes to join my sisters family.

Doing well, just some random crackling (as same as loud as music) when unit is warm. ( in use for some time... Not pushed hard.) Just for a sec or two. And then nothing an hour or so and then again...
Tone board is original. What could cause this?
