marantz 2225 bulb change

just got a 2225 all lights are out. looking for advice on bulbs .please advise pros/cons with led vs original. stereo indicator also out. is this separate bulb. any recommendations of bulb vendor on ebay. thanks

I'm sure you'll lots of suggestions on LED vs. original bulbs.

For a vendor I wouldn't go to Ebay. There's an AK member dgwojo who is the go to man for anything lamp related.

Yes the stereo indicator is a separate bulb. Also, the tuning needle should light up when in FM (maybe AM too, IDK) mode. And that is separate as well

I just bought fuse LEDS for my 2230 from Don Haywood, who is recommended on Catrafter's web page, here. They pop right in and are very nice.

thanks for the info. Im a novice at this. I have also heard the led's run cooler than original bulbs which is better and last longer. also have read led's may flicker. what are your thoughts. thanks
