Unfortunately, ALL my work on my marantz was lost due to me being idiot. I bought new PC and while tranferring the data this particular folder that had all marantz project was accidentally deleted and it could not be recovered. P800, PY01, P700 and PE01 are all gone
So i decided to assemble the receiver as is and just listen it during Christmas and New year holidays. It sounds already fantastic and i just replaced all the electrolytic one.
Mean while, I was able to redo P700 using my paper prints and digital images. It is not polished, a lot of fact checking needs to be done.
Now i am focused back on PE01. It would be harder since original schematic had so many errors, i fixed them all (yes, schematic also gone). I have only an intermediate printed result as a starting point.

Ohhhhh, man!! Been there and done that. That feeling you get the moment you realize your files are gone is terrible. So sorry. I hope you have the will to go back and duplicate the work you did. It was awesome.

That really sucks!
Lots of times when a file gets deleted only the record in the TOC is erased. If you put your old drive in an external drive reader and open it with a different OS many deleted files are still there unless overwritten. But yea, ouch!

Renovation is almost done. Once i'll move my stuff from the storage, i'll continue on the ampWork on the amp is postponed till Summer 2022. I need to renovate the apartment

I've just started to try to create some PCB boards for my Fisher tube receivers and have been using EasyEDA after finding some YouTube tutorials.
I've been able to convert Gerber files exported from EasyEDA to KiCad PCB files so I guess I could switch. Just wondering if there is a particular reason why you like KiCad. I'm still learning here.

I gotta load KiCad, I have a project that needs doing. I used to use AutoCAD at work and then run a gerber converter. My boss did most of the layouts though. But I had to check them all! They've switched to a Swedish CAD, CADint. Thankfully dodged that before I left!
