Marantz CD6006 display

I just purchased a used Marantz CD6006. When I got it home, the display is off. does anyone know how to get the display to turn back on? I’ve scoured the net and forums and don’t see an answer

Do you have the OEM remote?
Seems like too many functions on too many pieces of gear need the remote to access some functions.
THIS MIGHT WORK if you have the remote.
From my CD6004 manual
Changing brightness of display:
During playback press display
The display brightness changes in the following order
OFF-->Bright-->Dim-->Dark-->OFF

OR after typing all that from my manual I suppose you could just download the manual for your 6006 which took me 20 seconds to find online.

I do have the OEM remote.
I got it to turn on using the function button when powering it on. When I turned it off, it don’t come back on.
Might try calling Marantz tomorrow

the cd6006 has no "Display" button but on the lower left of the remote there is a "dimmer" button... you try that ?
