Matching a marantz 24 & marantz 140

Has anyone had this combo before? I have a friend getting rid of a 140 so i'm trying to see if I should grab his 140 or try and find a 250?

Take the bird in hand- the 140!
Get the 250 later.
They're both keepers with big blue meters!

I agree, take the 140. You will have no problem selling it if you find a 250 later. I liked my 140 so much I got another. :D
 
I use a 140 with a 3200 pre and 104 tuner and Canton Karat 300 speakers, and it blows the house down. The 140 is a great amp.
