MCD-205 remote control

I have a MCD-205 cd player and I am getting a MCD-201 does anyone know if one remote control will work with both players

Did I see from a previous post that you are using a MA2275? If so you could use your MA2275 remote to control both CD players. You just need to hook up a 1/8" cable to the data ports. The MA2275 remote will not do all the CD players functions but it does a good job on the basics.
