I have an MC2105 McIntosh Amp shows clear color only instead of green vu meter! How do I fix this? Is there just a fim that I needed? Thanks in advance

Write to McIntosh Labs. You can buy the acetate sheets from them still -- the plexy too, if it needs it. A $20 fix if you get both. :thmbsp:
Eventually, the heat from the bulbs changes the colour of the acetate sheets, and the plexy can fade over time. The meters on one of my amps were actually red/black when I got it! Oh, be really careful with the meter bezels when you are in there -- the heat can make them really, really, really brittle.

You can also use the colored gel sheets used for theater lights. Most of those are at a local theater supply house.
In the Mac forum here at AK some years ago, I posted the gel number needed as did a few others who figured out what each of the manufacturers' part numbers were. While you are there, check out what the recommended caps that need to be replaced to bring this amp back up to sonic glory, too. They're on the preamp board.
If this is your first time into the amp, you'll likely encounter some foam that will have fallen apart as well. Use some loose-cell weather stripping to replace it. Be cautious of the black paint on the faceplate. It will pop off with little provocation.

More good advice from dshoaf -- forgot about the foam. Keep in mind that bubbles and paint flakes can easily be repaired with a small brush and some Tremclad -- works like a charm, and can't be seen once repaired, just blends right in. :thmbsp:
