HELP NEEDED: Sansui 8080db VU meters problem?

The Right VU meter is not moving. Light and sound is not a problem. Is this an easy fix? I need help...please. Thanks in advance! FF

Any switches that you can use that set anything with the unit? For instance a peak/average/peak hold switch?

If they are dirty you will have dropouts in meter readings.

Else, wait for the people that actually know something about electronic circuits that will show up shortly.

Pull the wires going to the meter and hook up your ohm meter- then reverse the leads-the meter MAY free up if it's stuck. If the meter isn't fooked it should move with the DVM on ohm's setting.
