metal grill for wood case

I would like to make a wood case for a couple of my Marantz receivers (2252b - 2285b) - but I have no idea where to get the metal grill.
Anyone have a source?

Yes. There's a seller on eBay (not me) that sells the screens for $32. Never tried them, but their feedback is pretty good.

Since we can't post links, do a search for "Marantz wood" and scroll to the bottom of the list. Should find it easily.

I am cheap so I just cut up a 1.99 wire mesh trash basket to use as a screen when I made my own case. It may be a little too see through, but I thought it was kinda neat to be able to see the guts.

SO, you're running wood case only? Originally, the wood case went over the metal case. Cuts down on the see through.

No faulting. Just saying. Whatever floats you're boat.

I got my trash can at bed bath and beyond, but I recall walmart had one as well.

Hello,
It may be a good idea to check in to your local Home Depot or the Lowes
it may be better to buy a little more than you need that you may need it for future projects.

When I was looking, Home depot, ect had some metal that would work. Problem was it was about $35 bucks for 1 small square.
