Mick & Keef kiss & make up

I like Keef. And I realize the English tend to be snarkier and more blunt than we Yanks. But does he really have to write stuff like that about Mick? I cannot imagine that Keef has been the easiest bandmate to deal with over the past 50 years.

Whatever. Do a tour and I will go.

Ever since Davy Jones died I might have to see them another time in concert. Never know when one or the other won't be around.

I would love to see them as well but not in a stadium setting. How cool would it be if they just dropped into some little club and you just happened to be there?

If it's on it's too late for summer and stadiums, unless it's in September. I have two mystery dates at Alpine I don't know who's playing yet. One in Aug and one in Sept.

I can only hope. I'd much rather make a few bucks than shell out 1K.

i thought his book was candid and honest...if he wrote about princess mick in un-flattering terms...get over it! he was just as honest - and then some - about himself!

Kiss and Motley Crue summer tour 2012

Tour to be announced next week. Both doing full stage shows. Kiss alone is an 8 hour+ set-up. Glad I'm not on the stage crew.

I'd like to see Mick Taylor and Bill Wyman in the mix. Wyman has been meeting with the Stones and Mick Taylor worked with Mick Jagger on the overdubs to the Exile rarities disc.

Keef has not worked much with his guitar in the past few years and needs to get back up to speed. My guess is arthritis.

Nothing to get over. Just stating an opinion. I think writing about the schlang size of a bandmate and friend of over 50 years is a bit obnoxious (how does he know?:yuck:).

Rest assured I am not going to torch my Sticky Fingers LP cover in protest.

i thought mick should get over it, not you:yes:...commenting about someone elses johnson is in poor taste..bu, look who sent the insult..

agreed on the axl being axl stuff, huge ego...but slash has one too. Whole other thread lol. I read the keith autobiography in about 4 nights, couldn't put it down. He hit mick pretty good but as was stated in an earlier post he was brutally honest about himself as well. Great read for those who haven't read it.

Ken might redirect his missile launchers a little to his north-east for me saying this, but paying big money to see them in a huge venue so far from their prime isn't going to happen for me.
Even if they were the greatest rock act ever.

I'm with GB on this, I won't be forkin out for this show. ( I'll argue that the Who were the greatest, but that's another thread.)

I dunno whether to be PROUD The Stones are still truckin' after nigh on to 60 years, or be VERY Embarrassed...The specter of Mick prancin' around at his age is at once admirable, & disturbing...
