Modelers Corner

Here's the finished AH-64. May matte clear it but I'll wait and see how I feel about how it looks now.

Awesome job. I have one in my stash waiting to be built...

So I was dusting my model plane collection and it got me thinking about how far aircraft design and performance progressed in just 40 years.
The Nieuport N.28 was introduced in 1917 with a top speed of 123 mph. The first flight of the F-4 was in 1958. The F-4E had a top speed of 1500 mph.
It really is amazing that so much advancement in technology occurred in so little time. I suppose we have Roswell and Area 51 to thank for most of it. Gotta love those aliens!

When humans put their minds to it... even 5 years make a world of difference.

That's what I love about armor modeling. The more dust the better, whether from running them outside or from sitting around :rflmao: :rflmao:

Last of the 3 winter Tiger 1 projects. Taigen Tiger 1 Late that I had a turret and upper hull left fr0m being cannibalized for my Sturmtiger so i bought everything else to get it going This one is really not finished as it is still using all Taigen RTR internals so needs it's Clark board put in and being given to another club member to install his amazing elevation and recoil mods and also the IR battle base and emitter and I don't want a lot of stuff on that can get knocked off but it was nice to get some pictures of it running outside in it's new ABT. 506 early summer 1944 camo. This Abteilung took a hammering in June and July 1944 from the Soviets and was pulled back to recover and get re-equipped with King Tigers. It was then sent to the Netherlands and was sitting there resting when somebody screwed up in Allied intelligence and allowed Operation Market Garden to go ahead and send troops with no tanks that could match in against them.
