Here's with 16 hours. Not much change from the first 2 hours. Put in fresh bleach and see if that takes the rest off. If not I'll use LA's Totally Awesome when it gets here.

After a day and a half 95% of the chrome is gone. The chrome looked really bad on the valve covers since they were a dull gray aluminum stock and now these will look stock.

A few shots of my 1/16 RC Sturmtiger. Upper hull arrived from the UK in a week (Germany takes like 6 to 8 weeks for stuff to get to Canada) and fortunately had 3 straight lousy weather days to get it assembled and painted up in time for our club's battle day this past weekend. Such a beast.

Went to Michaels today because they have the new tooling Revell XKE. It was 39 when I was there the other day. Today it was 29. Being a tightwad I looked online for a coupon. Found a 40% off one item. Got it for just under 18.

Put the final coat of paint on the Boss 429 today saw a small bump on the passenger fender. Paint was still wet so carefully flicked it off. Bump landed back on the fender and the paint immediately started to lift and crinkle. So the bump was some kind of containment which ruined the paint. After throwing the body across the room picked it up and was able to remove all the paint and start over. Turns out the paint looks better now than the first job that went badly
