I haven't even been here very long and I got a lot of direct advice from Zilch, not to mention the tremendous amount of information he has posted. All of my best wishes to his loved ones. There will soon be an e-wave tribute to his generosity in my home, and many many others.

The AK world is a little bit darker tonight as we hear of the passing of one of it's unique lights.
Thanks for all you gave and Peace be with you, sir.
R.I.P.

Zilch,

Although we never met, thank you for your wisdom and guidance. Your willingness to enlighten and guide those in need will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to your family.

-Vincent

Our condolences to his family and to the AK family; this is a true loss and he will be missed.

Regards,
Erin and Eric

Very, very sad news. He often went well out of his way to satisfy his own curiosity, and then went further out of his way to share his findings with a large community of us audio-lovin' loonies.

He will certainly be missed.

R.I.P Zilch. This little place in the web was much better due to your support. You will be missed.

AK has lost one of its most knowledgeable voices.

My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Rest in peace, Zilch.

In my short time here, I have seen Zilch help many people. He really seemed like a great dude.

Rest in peace.

I didn't know Zilchmaster all that well....I wish I had...:tears::tears:

I cannot find the words to describe the great loss we all will feel.

Rest In Peace (Enjoy the beautiful music up there:D) And my deepest condolonces to his family.

Zilch has touched MANY lives her with his wealth of information!!

I hope his family is aware of his family here and they can see the touching tributes in this thread.

R.I.P. ZILCHMASTER!!

In my opinion this is one brave man.
Some of his final posts were the Z19 crossover where he posted his work for all to see, share and build. I don't think I would have the courage to do that in my final month. I feel tremendous guilt that I pm'ed him before Christmas to see if he would build a pair or if he was going to produce the Z19.
I had no idea he was that ill. And now that I think of it, maybe he wanted it that way.
