Well, well, well.
After recently losing a friend to cancer, now I lose my favourite protagonist to the same insidious disease. I enjoyed our little debates about the merits of JBL speakers. I remember him saying that he read my post regarding my delight with my JBL 4412s, with a great sense of satisfaction. I have to admit that much of the time, I was mostly pulling his leg and was being something of a provocateur, but of course he was sharp as a tack and well aware of that fact.
Most of his posts bordered on terse, to put it mildly, but nevertheless, his droll sense of humour was quite evident.
Zilch, I look forward to meeting you in person in a decade or two, at which time we can continue our debates.
Rest in Peace. And for once, do you think you can put away your oscilloscope?
