Moron vs B-2

If you look at the seller's other items for sale it's all just random estate sale stuff and no real electronics. With no research the poor guy sacrificed ~3k for a quick 640.
Yes, I was curious, as well, so I checked his completed auctions. Lots of all kinds of random estate sale ephemera, but there were some electronics mixed in. The C2 sold two or three days prior to the B2 selling.

I'd be willing to bet that the OP will be hearing from so-called 'moron' before too long.

Nah, if he would contact me I would convince him they are halves of the same unit

Belgian B,
You were onto something there. That is what I would tell him.

The sad part is that the buyer of the C-2 must be very pissed off by now. Could easily be an AK'er too.

I just found that auction.

If I had actually paid for this C2, I would have been pissed. He just tossed it into a box and shipped it. Some of the scratches and dents you see in the picture were clearly caused during shipping.

I guess we will see what happens. I am not excited about the thought of having to pack it properly and ship it back to him.

If he demands it back I would just take it to the post office with the box and tell them they delivered it by mistake. Let him sort it out.

Just tell him to give you x dollars cash back for your time, packing, and shipping - then just send it back and be done with it.

It's kinda like finding somebody's wallet - do you call and return it or just take the cash and dump it? Some things are just the right thing to do (depending on what your definition of right is).

Yeah, I have no desire to keep what's not rightfully mine.

But, Holy Cow, why did you send it to me, dude? :wtf:

Probably not on the ball that day. I sometimes worry whenever I am shipping multiple items that I could mistakenly swap the recipients, so far it has never happened but you have to be careful. But this one is especially precious, he sent two different sales to only ONE of the intended recipients, guess you were lucky it wasn't the other guy! You'd think with this value of gear he would have been a little more careful...

This reminds me of a time I'm out with this chick and we are stopping by a friend of hers for something, weed maybe, and there are a few people smoking in there and the guy has this super nice oscilloscope hooked up to his stereo and everyone is staring at it stoned. It was obvious this guy got it stolen or something and had no idea what to do with it but watch it stoned.

Probably the same guy that sold the B2

Rather than ship it back to him I would offer to ship to the actual intended recipient, saves him time/money and you the guilt of knowing he may unpack it to inspect and then repack poorly. Then just have him reimburse you for shipping cost and everyone's happy.

I thought about that, but the unit sustained some damage due to poor packing in its trip to me. I am not going to become the middle guy.
