I recall a post a few years ago about a high-end trim pot, but don't recall the manufacturer. Anyone have more information?

I don't know if there is a company making audiophile grade specific trimmer pots, but there is an ISO 9000 company in Riverside CA called Bourns, Inc whose core competency is making world-wide respected trimmer pots under the brand name Trimpot(tm). You'd be hard pressed to find better. Admission: I am a Bourns retiree. Their products undergo rigorous in-house load-life and environmental testing, so fly by night they are not. I know this because I have tortured many a trimmer to their demise, reporting my findings as I went.

I don’t think that would be considered a trim pot, a set it and forget it amp adjustment pot. What you show is probably intended to be a volume pot or other regularly used audio adjustment pot

Yeah, very true. I totally missed the "trim" part of it. 50mm might be a tad big too....
A very fine device, but ridiculously overpriced.
Don't look like a trimmer to me...
Agree, but it could be pressed into such service, I 'spoze. Kind of a waste if it were, though.

What can you tell me in regard to Bourns potentiometers, substitutes for Volume/Balance, Loudness, Bass, Treble that used the Noble products?

I am looking for information on possible substitutes for the Bass, Treble, Loudness potentiometers.
The Bass & Treble appear to be logarithmic with a center detent. Correct? They are also Dual Shaft which is a lost Art, with no possible new replacements. Correct?
The Loudness appears to be a Taper with 10 detents. Correct?
Possible complete new part numbers?
Should these pots be taken apart for cleaning are internal parts available?

They also become noisy and need lubricating if used anywhere warm. I don't think they were ever as good as the TKD CP2500, and not really as good as high-end ALPS such as RK40 and 50. In terms of electrical performance, P+G pots were barely better than ALPS RK27, but at many times the price did not represent great value. P+G was a great company and it's sad that most of the potentiometer division's lines have been culled, but I wouldn't lose too much sleep over the pots.
