Multi-record spindle

Howdy !

Well, my DUAL 1019 multi-record spindle is like... well... kind'of dried out / in need of lubrication :grumpy:. Anyone knows where to lubricate and where not to ? ara:

It's not a question of lubricants, there are rubber parts in it that dry up with age.

I will be interested to hear if they can be rebuilt, or the rubber bits replaced.

I'll open the thing tonight or so to see if the rubbers are o.k.. The spindle still works well, it's just that it's parts move a little less well... Maybe it's getting old.. :tears: (well, I know,... it's old)

You WILL find that the rubber parts on the spindle have deteriorated. This will cause the spindle not to drop records correctly, in that it will not retain the stack properly while it is dropping the one record at the bottom of the stack.
