Have been watching all sorts of music documentaries on PBS involving many genres of music. Fascinating. there's one on little Richard- King of Rock n roll and emulated by Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin... before they hit it big. Picture and interviews. Cool!

Flight 666 is fantastic even if you are not an Iron Maiden fan.

I saw Roy at the Village Vanguard in NYC when I first moved to the area, and then I saw him sit in for a couple songs in a jam session at Suzy Q's BBQ restaurant in West Orange, NJ many years later and not too long before he passed. Very cool to see him in that small casual setting at Susy Q's (now closed). I will definitely watch this documentary.

I had (and still have) the VHS version of this -- it was the only option during the two decades between when the VHS came out and they finally released in DVD in 2008. I kept waiting for the DVD and it took forever. A little shy of two decades (17 years) in 2025, the Blu-ray finally came out. You need to be patient to see a high quality version of it! :)

Chet is probably my favorite trumpet player of all time. His singing voice somewhat analogous to Neil Young -- pretty far from perfect, but somehow it works extraordinarily well.

Saw it at the end of the 80's over an old neighbors house. I had this on DVD for years. Watched it for the last time a few years ago, sold it for a nice profit, and just picked up the Blu Ray.

Chet was so ****ed up with a bizarre family dynamic that it did not surprise it took so long to put this out on Blu Ray.

Excellent by the way.
