Music Master speakers

Has anyone heard of these or own a pair? I've done a google search and nothing comes up. These are little bookshelf speakers with a 6" speaker. These are model DS-101. Nice little cabinets.

Almost certainly a speaker made for an stereo store so that they could offer full systems at lower cost than would be possible with a speaker from a national brand with advertising and distribution costs, So your speaker is unlikely to have been state of the art, even when it was made, but it also may have been built a little better than expected for the price. Whizzer cone speakers (which it appears this is) don't get a whole lot of respect - their response doesn't go up to 20Kz! - but there is a lot to be said for avoiding a crossover and having a point source loudspeaker. So, if you listen to them carefully, you may find that you like them more than you might have expected.

I like discovering regional store brand speakers like this. They can be surprisingly good. I have a pair of smallish 8" 2-way store brand speakers that have the same drivers as my pair of Marantz Imperial 5 speakers. I'm a fan of full range speakers. They have their strengths and can be very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing your find and enjoy them.
