I trust the readers of this great forum to be able to judge right and wrong here.

The Tandberg TCD 3014/A - TCD 910 - TCD 3004 machines usualy called The Dragon killers.
Also called the best-ever cassette deck in the world..................

Claimed by greatful to roll off at 15 kHz.

Was the machine worn down or was the service and control measurements faulty?

I have been measuring the same machine getting a complete different result.

Well. Machine was norwegian. Here in Scandinavia there are still some of them around and we still have technicians here that actually was educated on Tandberg factories or on Tandberg service points.

I can hear (and measure) that the Tandberg TCD 3014/A - TCD 910 - TCD 3004 comes close to my Lyrec R2R (but still a little seperates them though), my former Teac R2R couldn't reach it, my former Revox B77 couldn't beat it.

Lyrec is in the class or better than Nagra/Studer/Stellavox top of the range models.

Get a grib.

I think you are being a tad bit aggressive in how you try to add something when there need not be anything added. Please just let it go.
