My new Pioneer CT-F1000

If you bend the spray straw end into a hook shape, you can spray into the large pot openings near where they are soldered (see two arrows top right). Or spray into the two small openings (bottom arrows).

Thanks! I couldn't tell if those on bottom were openings or not. Makes sense.
 
Take a look at the difference from old worn FF Pulley and new one from WJOE

I'd contact WJOE and have them send you a new pulley with the correct hole-size. Maybe measure the motor shaft size and give that info to them to be sure.
 
Done - sent Joe an email.

Now I also need to find another Polyethylene washer for the missing one on the flywheel. It's 3.2 x 6.0 x 0.5 mm. Where can I look for such a washer?
 
BTW I need one of the polyethylene washers on inside capstan. No part number but it's 3.2 x 6 x 0.5 mm.

I'm thinking if I can find something close I'll get 2 and replace both so they are equal.

3.2 mm ID = M3 metric I believe.

I was afraid of this. PartSimple now tells me my order was cancelled by the supplier.

Damn it I think they make most of their money on floats like this :bash:

I returned both original and new one to WJOE. He's already fixed my problem and they are on the way back.

He is such a blessing to this hobby :thmbsp:

Thanks to WLHD1610 I have 2 oil stoppers on the way :banana:

Also have the clutch rebuilt by MTF. And WJOE fixed my FF Pulley :yes:

Things are coming together. Taking advice on the motor as well. Here are some pics:

I'm not sure I want to try cleaning those brushes. Look a little fragile and first and foremost I want to do no harm. I think I'll clean up the armature contact area, lightly oil bearings (all per Rich's instructions) and put her back together.

Just received the oil stoppers from WLHD1610 :banana: God AK is such a great place :thmbsp:
 
Not best picture but I cleaned the armature contact area per Rich's instructions. I have this Super Lube for the bearings. Need to get toothpicks to follow Rich's directions for one small drop per bearing.

I found the other poly washer :banana: Must have fallen out and I didn't notice it. I dropped another small screw and in looking for it I found the ply washer. :banana:
 
Sweet Grab there! I've got some Decks on the back burner waiting for a rebuild, a CT-F700, and a CT-F1250. Seeing this makes me want to get mine up & running after years of non-use, although I do have a CT-F8282 unit that was a NOS unit, which is on my rack doing duty now. Fantastic deck, BTW. :thmbsp:

I was looking at some 8282 decks for parts. I couldn't see myself sacrificing them :no:

Great looking deck :thmbsp:

Since I got interupted for 2 weeks I need to spend some time figuring out how this one goes back together. :scratch2:
