My tubes are bigger than yours

These tubes are big! Are there bigger that you can buy new? I'd like to see old ones too.
Significance of size - you tell me. I just wanted a break from that other thing, so thought you could show me your [big] tubes.

OK - made your point. I have small tubes. But mine are pretty big for under $1M. Just thinking what I could have bought two weeks ago - there I go again.

Hard to tell the size, but they look bigger than mine.
I do wonder a bit how much size in a particular tube model maters. I think these smaller 6SN7s sound better than my old bigger ones did. These EML 300Bs sound better than my smaller 300Bs did. I assume size has little to do with it. Any education of me is appreciated.

I would expect the EMLs to sound very good, like my KR tubes, they are hand made, and with equipment not used anywhere else. The 845 tubes in my pic are probably pretty close in size to the EMLs

I have imagined a tube with a bigger envelope might sound..bigger..lol, or maybe that a comparative tube, in a smaller envelope might sound tighter, or more focused..I'm sure it's just in my mind.

So what is the danger of radiation exposure with rigs like those?
No danger levels with what is commonly used, or the ones shown, 300b, 845, 211, or the KR tubes. There are some DIY builders that play around with triodes that use thousands of volts, some of them..I might not sit close to.

I'm no expert though, if I'm wrong someone will pipe in.
