Can someone identify the speaker below?

If the front edge is beveled they are radio shack. You could buy that foam from the store to customize if it wasn't original to that model.

Marantz? Look pretty generic - those cannot be original fronts as those usually disintegrate.

Optimus 9s have a cloth covering but there is a wire mesh screen under it, thus giving it that look. In all respects the cab seems to be too deep to be optimus 9s though. Example of them would be in my sig line.

AR3's? or other AR? I used to use that EXACT same crappy Radio Shack foam on mine back in the 80's, they looked exactly like that.

I was thinking Marantz Imperial 7, but they aren't the right grill.. not Marantz imperial series.. maybe they are Radio Shack/Optimus

That square block foam was a generic replacement grill foam that Radio Shack used to sell years ago. I had a pair of Superscope S-312's that had that. Ask whoever has those if they can furnish a picture of them with the grills off, then we might be able to pin 'em down. :yes:

The original Marantz open cell foam grills were large squares with a convex cut triangle shape with raised points, the First Gen HD's also used open cell foam grills, but those were truly unique, with concave squares and peaked at the edges of each square.

They remind me of speakers from the 70's called Ultralinear's. Or they may be someone's house brand speaker too.

I had a pair of Noresco model 525 speakers with grilles similar to those.

I agree- the foam is probably a replacement-as the original would have probably rotted.
I recently saw a pair of DLK 1 1/2's with the same type of grille material-RS stuff.

I'd bet a quarter that they're RSL speakers. The cabinets look identical to mine, grille notwithstanding.

Also, Bozak used the foam grill on their later "bookshelf" systems. Think it was the 301 or 401. Give us a shot of the front showinf the drivers ans the back showing the terminals and any labels and it can be narrowed down.
