A long shot for University home speakers, but worth a perusal.
Late-1960s/Early-1970s Allied or Lafayette catalogs might be worth a look, too. R/S had effectively stopped carrying name brands by the late 1960s.

That's what these are. I'm presently selling a pair of these that belong to my father. They have a 12" woofer, 8" midrange, and a compression horn tweeter. His sound great considering what they are and how old they are. His have the horns mounted on the upper right although I've seen them as pictured. Nice end table drom table style cabinets (Mom had to have furniture).
 
There is a pair of these that show up on the local Chicago CL even the wife likes the look :yes: I wish we had room for them.
