New home office set-up

Experimenting a bit; brought the Aerial Acoustics into the home office and paired them up with some Channel Island D200 monoblocks. Still tinkering but it’s up and running.

Those Aerials were/are on my "must-hear" list. They remind me of my KEF 107's, at least in terms of the separate "head" design for the mids and tweeters (bass driver configuration is totally different, of course). Very cool, beautiful speakers that I've always wanted to hear. Nice looking room you have there too, dig the color!
Also you make me feel slightly less ridiculous for having so much money (for me) in my home office system, haha. And for that, I thank you

Also, what are the slabs under the speakers, Sound Anchor or something like that? I really should do something like that for my KEF's, I have them on wheels for cripe's sakes! Does make them easy to move/clean though...

I'm driving the Aerials with the Channel Islands D200 Class D monos. They're the MKII's so they're the current model that utilizes the Hypex amp module. Picked them up to compare to an older switching amp that I had and there is no comparison. In this photo I was using the pre section of the pioneer SX-1080 but now have a APT Holman in place. Other pieces include a Yamaha YP-4 TT on a Butcherblock Acoustics isolation platform and a Benchmark DAC that will end up with a Bluesound Node running through it.

Good eye--they're the original Sound Anchor stands that were available as an upgrade when they were purchased new. They're ridiculously heavy.

How do you home office people get any work done ?

I don't have much problem working and listening. Spinning vinyl does distract me some. On one hand, it makes you get up every 20-30 minutes or so, but that can also mess with my work-flow, so I stream while working. What I have a harder time with is WATCHING anything while working...hard to watch TV, music videos, etc...my vision drifts towards the TV and away from my screen. Listening is no problem for me though. Although sometimes I will take a break and give my full attention to a song if it's sounding particularly good at the moment.
