Local Collage station KCSN has started playing the new Pink Floyd - The Endless River.

I heard two songs so far, one of them was Louder Then Words, the other song I did not catch the name on the tuner RDS.

started hearing those here in the chicago area a few weeks ago. im torn on how i feel about the new stuff...

Most of the music on The Endless River will most likely never get played on most Radio stations, the shorter songs are usually what get played.
I find to many times that it's the other songs that I don't hear for many months after a new album is released that turn out to be the better tracks,
sometimes I find music tracks that grow on you after you have heard it many times or in some cases years later, I do tend to like the longer tracks
from most of my favorite music artists and those are the ones that radio don't normally play.

I am not expecting The Endless River to be better then anything that Pink Floyd has done in the past but maybe there will be a few tracks that
sound real nice or even some good headphone music.

Got my copy in Aus today and a couple of listens in and I like it. It's quite atmospheric, and some tracks hark back to the Wish You Were Here era sound. As always Gilmour's guitar sound is excellent

Thanks for sharing your first thoughts on the The Endless River, I will pick up a copy myself when it's in the local
stores here in SoCal.

I remember when Animals came out I actually did not like that album all that much, it took about a year for that
one to grow on me, other Floyd albums I liked the very first time I heard them.
