Nice feet...

I decided to keep the GordonW Pilot SM-245A...I installed new feet, better speaker cables and its tremendous phono section convinced me to keep it.

My Talon speakers are long gone and I am using EPI M100 I think....quite good I must say.

Pilot was a pretty well respected brand back in the tube era. Very comparable to HH Scott etc.

We Aussies(well some of us) are descended from the petty crooks(handkerchief thieves etc) who the English nabbed to colonise the Antipodean settlement of New South Wales. These rough diamonds spoke in rhyming slang and it is a very Aussie tradition to throw around a bit of it.

"Shame about the boat race" comes-out when someone says "Nice (buttocks, breasts, legs etc). The rhyming slang bit is 'boat race'.
