Nightwisher's New Luxman's Room and Beyond

There is another one of those Luxman ( approx. 4' X 5' ) wall hanging " Experience The Tradition " pieces for sale local to me for 75.00 Cdn., cheaper yet for a U.S. sale, assuming the Seller will ship of course. Could possibly facilitate if need be if it is still available.

Nightwisher, you seem to really like testing and comparing gear from lesser to better quality as your hi-fi hobby. If I need a mid-fi or hi-fi recommendation you probably can answer my questions. I very slowly make changes to make incremental upgrades as I can afford to. Enjoy your pursuit.

When I put my LE14H-1s and 2344s in a single cabinet, I will be auditioning my SB6000s. I hear they are well worth listening to. Shown before painted baffles and NICE grills (2404s no longer in the house)

Said goodbye to my Jamo Concert 8s and hello to a pair of recapped Technics SB-7000a. Awesome. Had to rearrange my setup.

Hi Nightwisher, I am deadly curious on your listening opinion of the Technics SB 7000a. Here in Australia you'd be lucky to see one pair every couple years come up for sale but I am determined to find a pair....every speaker has their own story to tell but in your opinion would they add listen value in a room with Kef 105, yamaha NS2000, Jamo 707, JBL L96, Kappa 7 and Celestion Ditton 66? I'd like to broaden my Japanese speaker listening experience!

Kind regards
Rob

They are truly stellar speakers. Very well balanced, detailed, dynamic, with a huge image. Of the big vintage speakers I've had, these are the best so far.
