Totally agreed!!
As a Packer fan, there's lots of #4 stuff around here and rightfully so.
but his "unretirements and all the drama that ensued coupled with the Packer's SuperBowl win last year sure redeemed Thompson and damned Favre.

His actions of the last few years have pretty much turned his once shining legacy into water cooler joke, and that's just too bad because he sure as hell was something very special for a long time, and I'm damn glad he wore the Green and Gold.

Just to clarify my own opinion on him, and this is said as a Bears fan:

He's one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. Ever.

An iron man, who cared about the game.

What a sad, pathetic ending, that he had to **** on his own legacy for the sake of his ego.
